The fuzzy babies are home!
I had to laugh when I took this picture. They both were trying to escape. Yes, I definitely have my hands full! This picture was taken at Rocky’s shelter. Aiyana wanted to take four of them home.
Ferret Update
I did not bring the ferrets home from Rocky’s Ferret Rescue & Shelter last evening. Yes I said “ferrets”. I decided to open my home to two. I stayed for three hours. The time flew by. I enjoyed talking with Barb. We connected through emails. The connection grew during the time I spent with her. I’ll be volunteering at Rocky’s.
I was able to see the ferrets in quarantine they are waiting to get their results from the ADV test. If they are negative they will be allowed to interact with the other ferrets by the end of next week. I held both of these beautiful animals. I was really drawn to the six-month-old male, he’s a big guy, but I want an older ferret. During the handling time I asked Barb numerous questions and listened to the answers she gave me. She is a wealth of knowledge.
