Adopt a Homeless Animal
Have you heard of Petfinders? It’s a place where you can adopt homeless pets. I’m submitted an application earlier this morning for a ferret. I’ve always loved these animals and became fascinated with them as a child. I held of getting one for several years since I did not have the time to open my home to another animal. I do now. I submitted an application at a local ferret shelter and am waiting to hear back from them. I’ll have to do a site visit which is fine for me. I prefer a female ferret (jill.)
I bought Lalita, my maltese dog, from a breeder. The breeder was wonderful and treated her furbabies like members of the family. Isn’t that how they should be treated? I made up my mind that my next purchase would be a rescued animal.
