Watermelon Smoothie

Watermelon contains vitamin C and potassium it is thought to be a great detoxifier, diuretic, and cleansing agent for the body. Did you know that the seeds of a watermelon can be eaten. They are roasted, and/or salted and sometimes ground into a form of cereal to make bread. The watermelon rind can be candied or marinated.
A few weeks ago I purchased a watermelon. I finally cut it open this morning. I used half of the watermelon in a smoothie. I scooped out the watermelon (I could not resist a few bites) and added to my blender. I pureed until smooth. It was thick so I added about 12 ounces of distilled water to the blend. I gave my daughter a cup of watermelon juice. She loved it. You know if I had grapes would have added it the blender but I’m not complaining the watermelon smoothie was delicious.
