You can check out clips of the DVD here. Clicking on each picture will start the video.

I have not received my book, Living on Live Foods. I should have ordered it directly from Alissa Cohen’s (I have heard reviews about how quick the shipping is) website. I ordered it off of Amazon. This morning I decided to purchase the book, and I decided to buy the DVD as well.

Education Based Latino Outreach (EBLO)

Hola!

Have you heard of EBLO (Education Based Latino Outreach) ? A few weeks ago I decided to do some volunteer work with them. http://www.eblo.org/ I’m volunteering for the Latino Festival in Baltimore City. I’ll be at the beer booth but I won’t be drinking. They have an entertainment schedule listed on their website.

Does anyone know of a good Spanish software program? I would love to learn this language. I know a few words & phrases but not enough to amount to anything.

cucumbers

There’s a first time for everything. Today I added cucumber to my smoothie and combined with other fruit. You know cucumbers are a vegetable, right? Why? It is the mature ovary of a plant. IT also contains the seeds to reproduce.

Cucumbers Smoothie
10 oz. water
2 cucumbers
1 mango
Handful of blueberries
2 tbsp agave nectar

Blend until smooth. This is delicious!

Life is too short

yin & yang

Have you ever wondered why some “adults” act like children? Yesterday I was caught in the midst of one nasty incident, which left me wondering, “What on earth is going on here?” I took several deep breaths relaxed, and eventually got back to my peaceful place. Sorry but I refuse to be sucked into that negativity vacuum! I did leave the situation extremely disappointed. Life is precious! Why some choose to waste it being negative is something I have never been able to understand. It amazes me how some smile in your face and verbally abuse & talk negative about you when your not around. I go out of my way to be nice to others and respect them. You know what? I do feel pity for those who cannot give me the same respect. I distance myself from those types of individuals and hope they conquer their demons. Is it any wonder why many of the same people are wracked with various physical and emotional ailments? It’s karma! Your mental and physical health are connected, Wake up! I strongly believe in karma what you do to people will come back to you.
