Peppermint has been clinically proven to aid in digestion. It is also useful for relieving menstrual cramps and nausea. It also stimulates circulation.
Peppermint has been used medicinally as an expectorant, antispasmodic, and irritant. It has been helpful in alleviating fevers, nervous disorders, flatulent colic, and rheumatism. Did you know it is also used as a local anesthetic. It’s also used as an ingredient to mask the taste of other medicines. What a wonderful herb.
My workday is almost over and I have not been hungry. I have had to use the bathroom several times throughout the day but that is a good thing. It shows how effective my cleansing has been. I’m so happy.
Today I made sure I stayed hydrated. If you wait until you are thirsty to drink, you’ve waited to long. I made sure I drank plenty of water. I chewed my citrus juice and added Superfoods to my green tea. I think I will be stopping by the store on the way home so I can pick up some raw cashews and almonds. I will soak them in water overnight and add to my smoothie tomorrow morning. I’m thinking of picking up a few coconuts so I can add the coconut water to tomorrow’s frothy smoothie concoction.
This evening I will be picking wild mint from the garden. That stuff is potent. I brew a large handful 1/12 cups of water and it knocks me out. :-) My daughter loves mint tea.

When it comes to natural remedies this has to be my all time favorite book! I can curl up with this book and attack it with gusto. Is it any wonder many books received top priority on my bookshelves?
This morning I juiced four ruby red grapefruits and four lemons. It made about eight cups of juice. I set aside two cups for Aiayana’s juice and added the rest to my stainless steel thermos. I’m currently “chewing†my drink. I added two heaping tablespoons of Dr. Schulze’s Superfoods my drink.
I also brought green rooibos tea that I brewed last evening and will be sipping that along with my bottled water throughout the day.
I’ll be talking about my bowels on the next page so if you don’t want to read it don’t go to the next page! ;-)
