What’s for dinner?
Have I mentioned how much my daughter loves vegetable burgers? I’m sure I have. Yesterday morning I decided to make “Recycled Food” aka leftovers with black beans, corn. What did I add? Grated carrots, garlic, ginger, and cumin.
The burgers were delicious, succulent, and thick. I ate half of one and my daughter finished the rest. She also ate three more during the course of the day. I’m still on my food cleanse. I’m sure Aiyana is pleased with that since that means there is more veggie burgers for her. We don’t eat too many flour products in this house so I instead of putting the burgers on a bun I put them on a bed of leafy collards, romain lettuce, and kale. These were freshly picked from the garden. I loved the color contrast between the pale green romaine and the dark green collards and kale. I added green onions. I would have added tomatoes but we were out.
What about pictures? I took plenty finding the time to upload them is another matter.
