Love to Cook
It’s getting close to quitting time and the hour before mommy time kicks in is close at hand. Well guess what I’m hungry, visions of spring roll wrappers stuffed with all types of yummy veggie goodies are dancing through my head. I made the above spring rolls at the end of last year. Mmm, pot stickers are sounding delicious as well, what’s my dilemma? I’m not sure if I want to make anything. I think I just want to go home and R-E-L-A-X if my daughter will let me. This weekend I have a three day weekend so I have a feeling I will be experimenting and preparing quite a few delicious and nutritious vegan meals. This bug hits me often and when this happens I take advantage of the situation. I cook, sample, and freeze the food. Having the frozen food comes in handy when I don’t have too much time to cook.
I had an excellent workout yesterday. I will be heading to the gym tomorrow morning if I make a meal this evening. The majority of the meals are prepared fresh daily. Don’t get me started on how much I hate store bought frozen food. If the food is frozen, it will be homemade, and something I prepared. Why? It tastes better!
