Can you believe it? Aiyana will be three on May 21st. Her birthday is on a Sunday. I’m taking off the 22nd. The time has flown by. When I think back during the early weeks of pregnancy I have mixed emotions. My fiancee, J, was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver when I was about three weeks pregnant. I did not know I was pregnant until I was seven weeks. I think about the slight apprehension I felt at that time. I never thought I would be a single mother.
My first book arrived from Abe books today! You remember I posted about Abe Books. The book, as stated, is in new condition and I only paid $6.00 for it including shipping & handling. As I mentioned before I want to increase my knowledge about mutual funds. I have quite a lot invested with mutual funds & stocks. It makes sense to learn as much as possible about my finances.
As I was walking the living room I whacked my foot hard against the rocking chair! Darn that rocking chair for jumping in my way. The past few weeks I have been looking forward to the weekends. My workdays have been extremely busy and they fly by. I live for my evenings when I get to hang out with my daughter. The weekends are great since we get to spend a lot of time together.
It looks like I will finally be getting my bees. I’ve been holding off on them for about three years. I really think it’s about time I give them a home in our woods. I won’t be using them for honey. I’m sure my produce will be more plentiful with the bees around of course they benefit as well by having so many varieties of produce to sample throughout their workdays. :-)
