veggie burger

About an hour ago I made cabbage juice. I added habanero and garlic. It was sweet, spicy, and delicious. I have been using my leftover pulp for composting or veggie crackers but I decided to make veggie patties.

Miriam posted about the Lentil Millet Burgers she had made. I have been wanting to make some type of patty/burger for a few weeks. I did have the main ingredient that I wanted to experiment with, cabbage pulp, so what was stopping me? Nothing! Hey! I had to do something with that pulp! ;-)

anchor hocking glass containers

I try to avoid using plastic if possible. I recently purchased a distiller so that eliminates buying bottled water. I bring my own canvas bags to the store when I shop. I made the transition from plastic to glass storage containers a while ago.

Vegan Chili

Two quarts of Chili

These small containers hold 2 cups which is enough for two meals for my daughter and I. We don’t eat a lot at one meal. I am usually amazed at how much I see people eat at one time there is no way I could ever eat that much. They say the same to me. “You’re not going to eat anymore? I would be so hungry if that was all I ate!” I tell them that Aiyana and I do eat a lot but they are several small meals throughout the day.
