    I agree with that completely.

I agree. Except I still have the occasional outbreak (meaning 1 or 2 very stubborn pimples) that show up on my jaw line and last for a week or so, no matter what I do. I use a chemical-free, completely natural tea tree face wash once a day, just as a general cleanser, but I still get those jaw-line pimples. I’ve read often that it’s a symptom of PCOS, which I have, and that’s about the only thing I can blame on - hormones. I wish I had perfect skin. :/

I still have acne, not bad acne but still there in some areas.

I suspect mine is hormonal though like Miriam.

And my diet is basically good (vegan), with occasional fried foods and margarine.

Heck, even a slowpoke like me knew that diet is closely connected with skin (and hair) condition!

I agree that diet and exercise will help tremendously with your acne problem. also try natural or herbal treatments that work the acne from the inside out.

We need to keep after prevention & cure. Control and remission are getting better - through diet and medication. It is hard to sift out the genuine research from the frauds.

Other factors to keep in mind:
    Genetics…
    Hormones…
And what you eat that doesn’t go IN you! (i.e. eating greasy chips and scratching an itch on your face…oils build up!)

I think the chemicals that you find in soaps has a lot to do with all these itchy skin conditions

Seriously, i think it is true and i hundred percent agree with you. if you keep using acne product but never take care of your daily eats habit. You acne won’t stop, the product just can solve temporary problem. If you start stay away from fried foods, and some not healthy foods and have better sleeping time, you will see significant result after a month without having to spend single cents.

One of my acne triggers is definitely sugar. I’ve come to realize that my breakouts happen most often after a binge on sweets. One more reason for me to try harder to maintain a healthier diet.

One thing that I’ve found to be very helpful is replacing soda and other sweet drinks with Green Tea. Green tea is an incredible drink, not just for acne, but for the overall body and mind. Also, green tea contains more antioxidents than Vitamin E, which many people use to help combat their acne. The nice thing is Green tea is cheap and you can buy a huge box of it for only about $10 from Costco
