Upcoming holiday and veganism

We will be going to visit family, mother’s side of the family; in South Carolina this Thanksgiving and for the most part they are open to trying my dishes. Quite a few of them have questions about what I eat the reasons why we eat them. I answer their questions but don’t push the issue. I hate when people try to shove their beliefs down my throat so I am not about to do it to others.

Autumn days

I always loved The Road not Taken by Robert Frost. In many ways I could identify with it since I frequently have chosen the road less travelled. My wish is my daughter will always stand firm in her beliefs, and be able to articulate why she believes the way she does. I want her to be proud of the choices she makes regardless of what others might think or say.

These shots were taken earlier today. I watched her running around and I smiled to myself. She is so much like her mommy. I love being outdoors and so does she. She does not care what the weather is outside she wants to be out enjoying the outdoors!
There are times when I have to laugh at her facial expressions. They are so serious! Yes she is definitely her mommy’s daughter. ;-)

I dislike Cable

My daughter and I rarely watch television. You think she wants to watch regular television when she is enamored with her Dora DVD’s and Veggie Tale videotapes? I still subscribe to their service. Anyone ever wonder why cable keeps going up in price? I pay over $160 per month for cable and internet connection.
