Breastfeeding Makes a Difference!

This weekend I received a letter from the La Leche League. It appears that the annual breastfeeding convention for DC/DC/MD will be coming to Maryland in November! Okay so what’s the problem? The classes are on Sunday. Don’t people know Sunday’s are a working moms (ok this working mom’s) day of rest! Bah humbug! I still think I will go and of course take Aiyana. The special guest speakers will be will include Donna Martin, Dia Michels, and Diana West. I love Dia Michels. I met her when I went to the Breastfeeding Conference in MD/VA/PA in 2003. Dia personally signed two of the books I purchased and I chatted with her after the event was over.

Indian Grocery Store

I love Indian food/spices. I hate buying the products I want online. When it comes to food I would prefer to purchase my items in person. It also chat with the owners and of course experience new spices that I see in the store. I found this link a few minutes ago. I think checking out these stores will keep me busy. A few of them are not too far from my place of employment. It looks like I will be making a detour before I head home.
