When I made dinner yesterday evening I had planned on sauteeing mushrooms, adding onion, garlic, ground peppercorns and calling it a meal. However I became inspired and my original idea evolved into something else.

Aiyana can’t keep her feet out of my shoes. I received a shipment of shoes this past Tuesday, of course Aiyana quickly tried them all!

Aiyana and I went to sleep a little after 9:00 which explains why I am awake. I don’t require too much sleep.

I finally purchased another Button Mushroom kit

along with dowel spawn - oyster mushrooms

dowel spawn - oytser mushrooms

a few minutes ago. I purchase my mushroom kits and spawns from Mushroom Adventures. If you have not tasted fresh mushrooms I encourage you to give the mushroom kits a try. If you are likemyself you will never want to eat store bought mushrooms again. The flavor of freshly picked mushrooms is incredible. I moaned in pleasure when I took my first bite of lightly sauteed shitake and button mushrooms. The dish was simple. I sauteed the mushrooms in one tablespoon of olive oil. I added 1/2 freshly ground black peppercorn, 1 small yellow onion. The taste was incredible!
