What’s up with PETA!!
Anyone else hear the news about PETA last week? Over the years I have to say I have liked them less. I want to find out more about what is going on. I do not like the fluff compaigns they have featuring high profile celebreties and I sure do not like the negative campaigning they do now and again. This hurts the cause more than it helps and gives a lot of people a negative image about those who believe in animal rights. I stopped supporting them a while ago since it has been my belief they are not using the money appropriately.
I would rather give my money to local animal rights organizations, thank you very much! I have always been the type that likes to hear both sides of the issue before I make a decision. I ran across this website last month and saw it again a few minutes ago on another blog. It states that PETA kills around 85% of the animals they take in. When I read this a few months ago I was mildly surprised. I think I will send PETA an email in regards to this issue.
