I missed you! I missed you!

Whenever I come back to pick up my girly girl she runs to greet me. She puts her hands on her cheeks and says, I missed you! I missed you! I have not been separated from my girly girl for more than six hours since I started working from home. She usually says this on my return from the gym. I am there about 2.5 hours. What a fabulous reward after a kick butt workout, eh?

Oh by the way Aiyana has discovered my scarves. You know little miss girly girl  has discovered she likes them as much (or perhaps more) than mommy. I had so many scarves now they are disappearing. That girl I tell ya! Thank goodness she has not decided to mimic wearing my gelee’s (headwraps) at least not yet, pffft!

Ok time log off a full blown tantrum going on in the Vegan Momma house. Which can only mean Aiyana is SLEEPY!!!

Update on what we had for dinner

The Veganized recipe from Vegetarian Times turned out fabulous. I never made patties with carrots in them before. Hmm well I don’t think I have. I took pictures and will upload them tomorrow.

You know I am tired, wiped out, exhuasted. Hmm, I wonder if I can convince Aiyana to go to sleep? I think it might work. It seems my little angel is sleepy as well. Hmm better take Lalita out for her last potty walk of the evening.

What we will be eating for dinner

The current issue of Vegetarian times has a recipe that has captivated my attention.  Jamaican Vegetable patties.
The recipe in the magazine is vegetarian. It contains eggs and milk. I will veganize it and subsitute the eggs with flax instead of soymilk I think I will use a nice ginger tea. I will post an update on how my experiment goes. The salsa that accompanies the meal the recipe looks divine. How can you go wong with Pineapple Salsa?

My neighbor asked me last week would I be interested in going with her and a few other community neighbors to the zoo.
