What I made for dinner…
I made this for Aiyana about four hours ago. The dish consist of leftover brown rice and quinoa. The vegetables are mushrooms, kale, green onions, and red bell pepper. I added garlic, cumin, and freshly ground black peppercorns. I picked the kale and green onions from the garden. I sauteed the kale, green onions, and mushrooms, cumin, curry, and black pepper for two minutes. I added the rest of the vegetables when I was ready to serve. The total time it took to make this dish was 15 minutes. Aiyana loved it.
Protective Styles
I normally keep my hair in protective styles and make sure it receives plenty of moisture. This evening after Aiayna goes to sleep. I will style my hair in Bantu knots.
What do you mean you are not having a birthday party?
My daughter will be two this Saturday. I have had a few acquaintances ask me what I will be doing for my daughters birthday. I look at them and say, nothing. This gets an unusual reaction but it is her birthday! Yes it is I say. You mean you are not going to have a party for her! No I can think of better things we can do than have a birthday party.
Interesting Bug

Here is the bug Aiyana and I saw this past Saturday. Isn’t it beautiful?
I made sure she did not get too close. I did not want her stepping on it accidentally.
