Juice Fast

I started my juice fast yesterday afternoon around 1:30. I do this to give my body a chance to rest. I don’t do it to lose weight.

I enjoy the feeling I receive while I am fasting. I just finished drinking 8 ounces of freshly squeezed fruit
juice (navel orange, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon, and habañero pepper, flax
seeds.) I find that I usually have a lot of energy during my juice fasts.

I
worked out at the gym this morning, 30 minutes elliptical, one hour free weights, and one hour in the sauna. I will be using the treadmill at the house for thirty minutes later today.

Upon my return to the house I cut the grass
with the riding mower.I have almost an acre of grass that I cut. I trim with the pushmower and edger.
The majority of the land is wooded, over three acres.

    hey, do let us know how it goes. I’ve always been curious about juice fasts, but I’m kinda of skeptical (mostly because I like eating too much!!!) : )

    I definitely will. I think I will do a three day fast. I will post about ‘what came out of me’ later today, bah!

    I have just reached the end of my 5 day fast, I will break it *slowly* tomorrow @ breakfsat (makes sense right?)
    I will probably eat some oatmeal that I place in my food processor to make it less bulky, I love it with almond milk. (I’ll probably put just alittle flax seed oil in it just because.
    I do my fasts with veggie juice as well, I tend to stay away from the fruit juices until toward the end. I hope your fast/cleansing goes well, I know mine has.

    Yes it does ‘breaking your fast’, lol.
    The juice fast is going very well. I do find I need more calories since I burn so much energy hence the need to have the fruit drinks throughout the day.

    A five day fast is good. I am doing three day fast/cleasning. If I do not lose muscle tone or weight (I honestly do not think I will.) I will increase my days the next time I do a cleansing.

    Hello! I started my 12 day fast this morning. It’s lunch time and i can smell food, this is hard. I really want to experiance a spirital fast, and am not that interested in the losing weight part. I buying a juicer after work today. Any tips?
