Update on C

All is going well with C. We went out twice last
weekend and I saw him last evening. We really have a wonderful time together.
The time flies by so quickly.

C is ‘career military’ and an officer. He is in
the Navy and is also a pilot. He can retire in seven years. He graduated with a degree in business finance and has
his master’s degree in aeronautics. I never thought I would be dating someone in the military. I did not think I would be dating anyone for a long time after J. I really did not want to but C, I believe, is a positive soul. He is 32. I am 34.

Last weekend he took me to the Naval Academy. I have not been there in years. He asked me whether I wanted to fly, but I told him no. Later that evening I told him how much I disliked small aircraft. Hmm, I guess I will have to eventually get over that.

When I worked in the corporate world, I constantly flew to New York City that is about 45 minutes away by plane. I usually was in a tiny airplane (16 - 35 seat planes.) On many trips there was turbulence so I felt everything. It was not a smooth ride. That is where I grew to dislike small airplanes.

I went to his place last weekend and was impressed. It was definitely not how I expected it to be. I really love the furniture, and
how simple elegance. I was definitely impressed and told him so. I brought a few gifts. Two books, one on military planes from the 1920’s to present, and a book on Starting your own business. He eventually told me his desire about starting a nonprofit business with his best friend, and I thought I would pass along a book that really helped me out when I became interested in starting my own business.

I am really excited that C seems genuinely interested in Veganism, but I am not pushing it on him. He seems proud that he is including
more vegetables in his daily intake. He even has meals that are only vegetables and grains. I really am happy for him. He seems so excited. I asked him to accompany Aiyana and myself to Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary and he told me he would love to come along. Originally, we were going to visit at the end of this month  but I think I might hold off until the second week in April.

I asked C if he would like to meet Aiyana, and he said he would love to. He loves children.
